  •  Challenge yourself to another level at Jackson County Ultras. Very steep topography rewards you with fantastic vistas along the ridgetops in Jackson-Washington State Forest. Each lap will take you around two different and beautiful lakes and to the highest point in Jackson county.

  • Though the course is rugged, Pyoca Camp, Conference, and Retreat Center balances that out with warm, dry places to eat, sleep, shower, and gather before and after the race. We've partnered with the camp to bring you affordable weekend-long packages including full meals on Friday night, Saturday post-race "ends at Midnight", and Sunday recovery breakfast. Cabin Details/Photos. Booked on Ultrasignup.

    • Friday night meal consist of Pasta Bar, Garlic Bread/bread sticks, salad, drinks, and a dessert."Purchased with registration on Ultrasignup."

  • CAMPING- Jackson-Washington State Forest has 54 primitive first come first serve campsites. They are $13 per night. These are located conveniently just down the road from the event and even some of the sites are on the course itself.

  • The course is a 10-mile loop with approximately 1,600 feet of vertical gain per lap. The trail is a mix of double-track (fire road style) trail and single-track narrow trail. About 3/4 mile of the course is on a paved road within the State Forest. Aid stations will be located every 3-5 miles along the route, and each lap will pass within feet of Pyoca's lodge building; offering warmth, restrooms, and access to your personal stash of food, clothing, and other needs.

  • Your entry fee also includes:

    • Post-race food Noon-Midnight ( Chili, Vegan/GF Soup, Assorted Sandwiches, Hummus Pita and veggie tray, chefs salad, chips, condiments drinks, etc.)

  • 6 person teams require each team member to run 1 lap.

  • Ea team member must run an ENTIRE lap (10miles) you CAN NOT switch runners in the middle of a lap.

  • NO PACERS.

  • Start/Finish exchange point is right by the main building. You can stay warm and comfortable inside while watching through huge windows to prepare for your exchange.
